How to prevent ransomware in connected industrial environments
28 de May de 2026Cosmikal, a Spanish company specializing in the development of advanced cybersecurity solutions, today announces the inclusion of its Endurance solution in the NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue (NIAPC), the official informational technical catalogue of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, which lists products evaluated by national authorities in accordance with the Alliance’s information security criteria.
This recognition represents a historic milestone for Cosmikal and for the Spanish defense technology industry: Endurance becomes the only Spanish solution included in the NIAPC in the access control category, and the second solution of European origin within this designation, further strengthening its position within the European information security landscape for mission-critical environments.
The inclusion in the NIAPC was made possible following the product’s evaluation and certification by Spain’s National Cryptologic Centre (CCN), the national authority responsible for certifying information technology security, operating under the National Intelligence Centre (CNI). As a national certification body recognized by NATO, the CCN verified that Endurance meets the Alliance’s stringent security requirements, enabling its inclusion in the catalogue.
The NIAPC: NATO’s reference catalogue for information security
The NATO Information Assurance Product Catalogue (NIAPC) is an informational tool used by NATO for information security management across the Alliance. Its purpose is to serve as a technical reference guide for member nations, technology providers seeking to operate within NATO environments, and NATO organizations themselves, facilitating consultation of products evaluated against the information security standards established by the Alliance.
Inclusion in the catalogue is neither automatic nor straightforward: it requires formal validation by a recognized national certification authority, ensuring the independence, technical rigor, and objectivity of the evaluation process. The NIAPC therefore serves as a strategic trust instrument for security decision-makers throughout the Atlantic Alliance structure.
Endurance: protection for the most demanding environments
Endurance is Cosmikal’s solution designed to secure access to critical assets and infrastructures, defense environments, and institutions operating under the highest information security requirements. The solution integrates robust authentication capabilities, centralized credential management, and complete access traceability, specifically designed to withstand the threats associated with classified and highly sensitive environments.
The CCN certification and NIAPC inclusion confirm that Endurance complies with NATO Information Assurance requirements, validating its suitability for deployment in environments where information integrity, confidentiality, and availability are indispensable operational requirements.
“The inclusion of Endurance in the NIAPC is the result of Cosmikal’s sustained commitment to the highest information security standards. It also represents recognition of Spain’s technological capability to address. The security challenges of our time in the most demanding environments.”
Víctor Pascual López, CEO of Cosmikal
A strategic milestone for Spain and Europe
Beyond the corporate achievement, the inclusion of Endurance in the NIAPC may have significant strategic implications for the Spanish and European cybersecurity and defense ecosystem. At a time when technological sovereignty and strategic autonomy have become priorities for Allied nations, having a nationally developed solution accredited within NATO’s reference catalogue helps strengthen Spain’s position as an active contributor to the Alliance’s collective security.
Cosmikal would like to express its appreciation to the National Cryptologic Centre for the rigorous evaluation process carried out and reaffirms its commitment to contributing, through Spanish technological innovation, to the information security objectives of the North Atlantic Alliance and its member nations.
