Secure telework: technical strategies
9 de October de 2025This year’s edition set a new record, with more than 192 exhibitors and 300 speakers spread across conferences, workshops, and discussion panels. As a consequence, ENISE 2025 established itself as the leading showcase of Spanish talent in the field of cybersecurity.
The city of León once again benefited directly from the event. Hotel occupancy reached 95%, with a 15% increase in hospitality consumption and an overall economic impact close to €2 million, according to unofficial local sources.
This momentum reinforces INCIBE’s role as an economic and technological engine in the northwest of Spain. In fact, the institution has grown its workforce by 26% over the past three years, and its annual budget now exceeds €130 million.
The message was clear: Spain is consolidating a mature ecosystem, capable of innovating, attracting talent, and exporting knowledge in digital security.

Technological innovation everywhere
#19ENISE 2025 featured an ambitious program, with more than a hundred activities focused on innovation, resilience, and talent.
Among the key topics discussed were:
• Zero Trust and SASE architectures, essential for a security model without implicit trust.
- AI applications in cybersecurity, using predictive models for automated threat detection and response.
- Protection of critical infrastructures in industrial, water, and energy sectors, where OT and IT increasingly converge.
- Cybersecurity for SMEs, with scalable and affordable solutions.
- Human risk management, an increasingly valued element in corporate strategy.
Leading companies in the market presented innovative solutions based on AI, operational continuity, and hybrid storage, while new startups introduced agile, sector-specific proposals.

Cosmikal: Spanish technology with real-world impact
The Cosmikal booth was one of the main attractions in the exhibition area.
Over the three days, dozens of professionals from the industrial, technological, and governmental sectors discovered first-hand the capabilities of Endurance (RSW) and Ranger (LSW). Both two solutions that reflect Cosmikal’s integrated vision: protecting both access and the work environment at every level.
Endurance (RSW): Intelligent shielding for critical access
During live technical demonstrations, the Cosmikal team showcased how Endurance isolates and protects privileged access and remote sessions. Its architecture allows that only keyboard, mouse, video, and audio events are transmitted, completely eliminating the risk of manipulation or data exfiltration.
This isolation-based approach makes Endurance a key solution for sectors where operational continuity and traceability are critical: energy, water management, telecommunications, and Industry 4.0.
Ranger (LSW): the Shielded Local Workspace redefining endpoint security
For the first time at ENISE, Cosmikal unveiled its latest development: Ranger (LSW, Local Shielded Workspace).
This solution was designed as a natural complement to Endurance and responds to a growing need: protecting the local workspace of operators managing critical infrastructures or sensitive information.
Ranger LSW provides a completely isolated workspace, allowing users to execute critical tasks in a secure, monitored, and tamper-proof environment.
Key technical capabilities include:
- Isolated local environment: users work on a shielded station where installing external software, connecting to unauthorized services, or copying sensitive data is not possible.
- Comprehensive data loss prevention: blocks removable devices, redirects traffic, and controls any attempt to transfer information outside the workspace.
- Native integration with Endurance: privileged access is managed through Endurance, while operations occur within Ranger’s controlled space, ensuring continuity and traceability.
- Centralized visibility and session control: all activity can be monitored and audited without compromising local performance.
In short, Ranger transforms the physical workstation into an inviolable environment. This enables technical teams, operators, and administrators to work securely, even in vulnerable or non-segmented networks.
During the event, attendees particularly praised its ease of use and minimal operational impact, both crucial in environments where agility and security must coexist.
With Ranger, Cosmikal extends its protection beyond access control, bringing security directly to the user’s workstation and reducing risk at its source.

Cosmikal’s talk on “Shielded workspaces” draws strong interest
Luis Miguel González, CEO of Cosmikal, played a key role in ENISE 2025’s technical program with his presentation titled “Shielded Workspaces”. The session reached full capacity, confirming the market’s interest in solutions designed to protect access to critical environments within corporate infrastructures.
During his talk, González discussed how the shift toward hybrid and distributed models requires rethinking security beyond the traditional perimeter. This positionates local and remote workspaces as essential components of digital defense. His presentation combined technical depth with a strategic vision, highlighting how technologies like Ranger and Endurance are shaping inviolable operational environments.

Highlights of #19ENISE 2025: talent and a vision for the future
The atmosphere at this year’s edition was exceptional. Sessions on generative AI, cybersecurity in industrial environments, SOC automation, and new active defense models set the tone and sparked vibrant discussions among attendees.
The Cybersecurity Social Forum, with more than 400 participants, focused on talent development, diversity, and continuous training..
For Cosmikal, this gathering reaffirmed a guiding principle: cybersecurity is not just about protecting systems, but about ensuring trust in every technological interaction.
A Milestone that advances the Cosmikal vision
#19ENISE 2025 was more than a technology showcase, it was a forum for reflection on the future of cybersecurity in Europe.
The strong reception of Ranger and the continued consolidation of Endurance confirm that Cosmikal is moving forward with a solid, realistic, and adaptive proposal. This is aligned with the sector’s new paradigms: hybrid environments, distributed access, and secure work from anywhere.
For us, participating in ENISE is a statement of intent: to innovate from Spain, protect what matters most, and lead with proprietary technology.

Thank you
From Cosmikal, we want to thank all professionals, partners, and clients who visited our stand and INCIBE for its flawless organization.
We return from León with new ideas, valuable connections, and the same motivation of this decade: turning security into a competitive advantage for businesses.
